Welcome to one artist's interpretation of a bust of Edgar Allan Poe. This most unique representation of Poe is based on the famous 1848 daguerreotype of the author.
The sculpture has been made into both a formal "library" quality bust, a wall-hanging half-bust, and a scented candle. Each version of the sculpture stands approximately 7 inches high, and is hand crafted by the artist.
Currently, busts are available in a variety of finishes. The hand-painted finishing techniques create the illusion of various cast metals, such as copper, pewter, gold, and bronze. Custom finishes are created upon request, but will require extra time for processing (just e-mail us with your request).
The candles are a soy & paraffin wax mixture. The finish of each candle is currently a faux pewter.
Custom gift boxes are available at an additional cost.

Finished in our classic matte bronze or silver brushed look, this is a perfect addition to any room of your house that needs a "touch of Poe".
Each wall hanging piece comes with saw-tooth style picture hanging bracket affixed to back. You supply the small head screw or nail to affix to wall. Each piece is approximately 1.25 lbs.

Each "library" bust is comprised of Tuf-Stone(TM) plaster. Each bust is hand painted and hand finished by the artist. Each bust weighs approx. 4lbs.

SCENTED CANDLE - $20.00 each
Each scented candle is comprised of a high-quality soy & paraffin wax mixture. Burning time is well over 20 hours (but we suggest that continuous burning time not be longer than 4 hours, please refer to caution statement). Candles are finished with a wax-based pigment. Each candle weighs about 2.5 lbs.
Some candles also have a red center that creates a pool of red wax as the candle burns down. Are you seeing the burning passions of Poe himself, or something much more... macabre?
